Norway House

In my first full-time job after college, I learned how to use a company’s brand and voice to create advertising and social media
materials. At Norway House, I managed our weekly e-blasts, photography and videography, social media channels, graphic
design work, web design, and marketing materials, among other things. It taught me how to step outside of my personal
aesthetic and how to create from new perspectives while following a brand’s guidelines.

Midtsommer Gala 2023

When I started at Norway House in March of 2023, the director of communications had already come up with the theme for the upcoming gala, but gave me the task of designing the collateral and executing the marketing campaign. The concept given to me was “nostalgia” based on vintage postcards, which is how I designed the invitation and branding for the gala.

Miscellaneous design work for Norway House

Aside from designing bigger campaigns, my day-to-day work at Norway House was primarily about advertising upcoming events and designing materials to accompany the ads.

Norway House’s brand identity is clean, Scandinavian-inspired, uses the Futura font family, and has blue and white as its main colors, with orange as the accent color. Below are a few examples of social media ads and website materials I made for the brand.
